Trend Report: "I was like, Really?" or just Really

A very hip phrase to say is "I was like, really?" It's used when telling about something that caused dismay such as... A homeless guy was trying to buy a 40 ounce of Old English with 50 cents with his pants falling around his ankles while he was sharting all over the place, I was like -really? you're trying to get a discount on that already dirt cheap Malt Liquor?" If you're in a group of friends and some kind of similar injustice takes place you can observe communally and just say "really," with no other words. Your friends will think your hip and they will understand you.
