In 2010 I think this trend is still going strong. Protective smoking goggles are still hearted here at IVH and to quote myself "Of course smoking is hip right now-it's pretty much always in style-but making weird faces when the smoke gets in your eyes can really ruin a perfectly hip outfit. We have been noticing a lot of these protective goggles for smokers and there for sure going to be huge for summer 09 all the way through winter, no doubt. Whoever thought of these things is a G-E-N-I-U-S!" for more click here

Your creepy and eerie bedroom is trending up right now. After a long night of tiring crafting, feather working, and a few handfuls of self shots (lots of outfit changes) you finally fell asleep on the floor. You wake to find the beauty of light and a new day tickling the lace curtains and licking the messy bed. Cherish this moment, it's the rebirth of hip, the hopeful side of hip and it's the time you most loath and desire to last forever. Your room (like your boyfriend) should have a uni bomber feel to it: wood panelling, minimal, and a kind of austere religious vibe.

Legs are hip. Um I mean legs are very hip. Being that legs extend from the hip it's only logical that legs and hip have collaborated. I've been waiting for this for a long time. This is like a form of proto-hip: legs provide the foundation for hip. And this is the first kinda photo that many hip havers take in attempt to glorify their roots: It's tacky to forget where you come from and many a point and shoot photo pay homage to this fact. Legs are fastly becoming the abstract de choice, with photos of "all your shit spread around on a table and what's in your purse" following in a close second.

Quickly becoming a Staple Pose, ground pose has swept the blog-o-sphere by storm. What better way to add texture and contrast to an almost, but not quite, finished look? Along with superficial enhancement, ground poses show that you are indeed down to earth, and can even say I Heart The Earth. On the flipside if one poses on oily concrete it says I am not afraid of urbanization in fact I have just styled all up on it. For more on this trend click here
