Stop being serious and start clowning around. Pierrot is the French version of the red-nosed scary American clown-and is a sad clown. Scary isn't too hip right now, but a sad clown is the best way right now to comment on the macabre state of the socio-economic-political global sphere. This look might really be big in the fall--its darker color palette makes a little more sense as we exit these long hot summer months.
