Horns On Your Head

It's been too long. Stop hiding your horns. These accessories are making a big comeback. If you haven't grown yours out yet you can get a pair and simply place them on top of your head. I believe Natasha Khan is responsible for bringing these back into style...and we love her for it. This also falls into the inversion theory of hipness which states "as technology increases the more hip nature (the wild) becomes."

You Silly Rabbit - Hip is for Kids

Dress like your favorite animal and play your favorite instrument. Bobb Bruno is my favorite human dressed as bunny.
It's very hip to play music, so it's even more hip to play music in a cute costume...

Thank you for the pretty photos Kevin Hayes (whom might I add, Is very hip Himself)

American Icon X Posing with Animals:

Audrey Hepburn, an american icon, was no stranger to posing with animals. She had wonderful style, and choice of animals. Sometimes it's important to look to the past for inspiration: Audrey knew that an animal can be used to accessorize with-as we can see from these photos. I wonder if she was aware of the inversion theory of animal hipness? The law states that as technology increases in society the more hip un-technological things become. For more on this subject click the label "posing with animals."

Wisdom x Effortless Cool= Owls (still hip)

In 2009 owls are still running things. These wise old animals prove that intelligence is hip. Plus, having beautiful eyes that gaze with empty intent onto a sometimes less-than-hip world = sexy and aspirational. Make owls into products for your loft. Make owls into street art and paste them up! Make a dollar bill into the owl. Get an owl tatoo'd. Or hang out with your owl wrangling uncle--just to get to know an owl better. You won't regret it.

People x Animals: Dressing + Acting Like One.

They say culture moves in 10 year cycles. But what about 1,000,000 year cycles? The ultimate retro statement spans well into the past, this season, and it's fun and sexy-for summer and other seasons too. Before fashion there was animals. Acting like them (and mimicking their iconic gestures) is currently being birthed in various culture incubators around the globe (Los Angeles, Paris, New York) as a very forward lifestyle choice. Its very hip to act like an animal as well as wear one on your shirt + perhaps hiding your human face with an animal mask (try adding smoking + smoking goggles to this.)

Natasha Khan: Bat For Lashes. Poses with Animals

First off, we Love Natasha Khan. And If your reading this you most likely do too. Its very hip to love her right now. She is at the forefront of the whole posing with animals movement. And we love that too because even before we forecasted the animal posing trend it seems like she was on it already. Her animal selection is on point too--all the hippest animals to pose with are covered.
