I think that balloons make a lot of sense right now. What could be more symbolic of freedom in this modern world? And like so many of us they are brightly colored on the outside and empty on the inside. However, unlike their human counter parts, balloons can fly--like a bird. So cool, so hip, so Free: balloons are blowing up. Oh they also weigh next to nothing while still making quite a visual impact-so they might even be making you jealous.
